GUWAHATI: All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) supremo and sitting MP Badruddin Ajmal contest from Dhubri constituency which is his current constituency while AIUDF general secretary Hafiz Rafiqul Islam will contest from Barpeta and sitting MP Radheshyam Biswas will contest from Karimganj.
The AIUDF on 23 March released the names of three candidates for the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The party is also likely to field candidates from Guwahati and Kokrajhar constituencies.
The Party’s Dhing MLA Aminul Islam is likely to contest from Kaliabor constituency and Karimuddin Barbhuiyan is likely to be the AIUDF nominee from Silchar.
