The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced that the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections will be held in India in seven phases from April 19, when phase-1 would begin.
The ECI has announced the election dates on March 16 in a press conference at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi, The press conference was attended by Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, along with the recently appointed Election Commissioners Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu.
