GUWAHATI: The Kamrup District Administration has declared February 3 as a local holiday for the 75th Asam Sahitya Sabha.
In a notification the Deputy Commisoner Kamrup (Rural), Amingaon stated that 3th February 2020 is hereby declared as "local Holiday" in the entire Kamrup District in connection with the 75th Conference of "Asam Sahitya Sabha 2020".
All Govt. offices/Financial Institutions/Banks etc will remain closed under the Jurisdiction of Kamrup District.

However, the Officers/Staff/Teachers who are engaged with the conduct of any Examination Duties or other Essential Services in the district are exempted from the purview of this Holiday.
