KC Das Commerce College Announces Cut-Off Marks For UG Programmes

GUWAHATI: K.C. Das Commerce College in Guwahati has recently announced the cut-off marks for various undergraduate courses for the current academic year 2023-2024. 

For the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) programme at K.C. Das Commerce College, the cut-off marks vary for different categories. The cut-off for the general category stands at 86 per cent.

Under the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category, the cut-off for B.Com is slightly lower at 80 per cent. This ensures that OBC students meeting this requirement have a fair chance of securing a place in the programme. 

For the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, the cut-off mark for B.Com is 76.2 per cent, providing SC students meeting this requirement with an opportunity to pursue their education at K.C. Das Commerce College. 

Similarly, for the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, there are two separate cut-offs. ST (plains) category students must have obtained a minimum of 69.6 per cent, while ST (hills) category students need to obtain a minimum of 68 per cent. These cut-off marks emphasise the college's commitment to ensuring representation and opportunities for students from different backgrounds. 

Moving on to the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) programmme at K.C. Das Commerce College, the minimum cut-off for all categories is 50 per cent. This indicates that students who have obtained 50% or above in their previous qualifying exams in the science stream will be eligible for admission into this programme.

For the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course, the cut-off marks also vary for different categories. Under the general category, the cut-off is 78.6 per cent. For the OBC category, the cut-off is slightly lower at 71.6 per cent. Meanwhile, students from the SC category must have obtained a minimum of 72.2 per cent to be considered for admission. For the ST-P category, the cut-off is 69.6 per cent while the cut-off for the ST-H category stands at 48 per cent.
