GUWAHATI: Kaziranga National Park introduced a range of new wildlife experiences on Friday, November 1, including the eagerly awaited Elephant Safari.

The park’s refreshed offerings aim to provide visitors with immersive, eco-friendly ways to explore the unique ecosystems and iconic wildlife of Kaziranga, including the one-horned rhinoceros, elephants, and a variety of bird species.
The popular Elephant Safari has officially resumed in the Central Range (Kohora) and Western Range (Bagori), where visitors can enjoy close encounters with Kaziranga’s wildlife from the back of trained elephants, guided by expert handlers. The Burapahar Range also opened for safaris, giving visitors expanded access to Kaziranga’s lush landscapes and its rich biodiversity.
Additionally, a new cycling route has been launched in the Agoratoli Range, designed for adventure seekers looking to explore the wilderness on two wheels.
This inaugural event drew a host of dignitaries and officials, including Kaziranga Field Director Sonali Ghosh and Divisional Forest Officer Arun Vignesh, who were joined by members of the forest department.
