GUWAHATI: The Kamrup (M) excise department has issued a clarification regarding rumours about the distribution of license for IMFL OFF shops.
“A circle of fraudsters were spreading rumours about the license for IMFL OFF SHOP being distributed. Regarding that matter, Kamrup (M) District Excise Branch wants to clarify that Excise doesn't have such proposals to grant license to such shops,” the department said notification dated October 31.
The notification further stated that a clarification regarding the same had already been issued from the Collector's office.
