Sudip Dutta Bhaumik, a TV journalist from Tripura was brutally kileld by a Tripura State Rifles (TSR) Jawan on Tuesday, during news covering at RK Nagar, about 20 kms from Agartala.
The news he was covering is yet to be known.
Sudip Bhaumik had gone to meet the Commandant of the 2nd TSR after obtaining due appointment from him. After he reached there, the two parties had an altarcation, during which the PSO of the Commandment outside the TSR Jawan's office shot at him.
Sudip Dutta Bhaumik died on the spot.
