GUWAHATI: The first admission list for the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2023 will be released by IIT Guwahati on Thursday.
Candidates who have applied for the test can check the admission list on the official website of IIT-G at jam.iitg.ac.in.
It is important to note that the deadline for online payment of the seat booking fee for the first admission list is June 7.
The second admission list will be announced on June 15, and candidates will have until June 21 to pay the fee for seat booking in that list.
The withdrawal option will be available from June 15 to July 2.
On June 26, the third admission list will be declared, and the last date for fee submission is June 29.
The fourth admission list will be published on July 7, and candidates will have until July 10 to pay the fee for that list.
JAM is a computer-based test (CBT) covering seven subjects: Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematics, and Physics.
JAM scores are used for admission to 3,000 seats in various postgraduate programs at IITs, as well as over 2,300 seats at various institutions, including CFTIs (Centrally Funded Technical Institutions), NITs (National Institutes of Technology), IISc (Indian Institute of Science), DIAT (Defence Institute of Advanced Technology), IIEST (Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology), IISER Pune (Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research), IISER Bhopal, IIPE (Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy), JNCASR (Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research), and SLIET (Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology).
