IT Minister meets e- Governance Training Team

Minister for Information Technology, Shri. Keshab Mahanta interacted with the e- Governance Training team of the Assam Secretariat in the Conference Hall of his office at A Block, Assam Secretariat today. In pursuance of the notification issued by Administrative Reforms and Training Department, 11 (Eleven) Sr. Accounts Assistant/ Jr. Accounts Assistant of Assam Secretariat will undergo one year diploma in e-governance at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT), Majitar, Sikkim, with effect from 25th July. Officials undergoing the e- Governance training are from Handloom Textile and Sericulture Department, Panchayat & Rural Development, Excise Department, Finance (Estt-B) Department, Parliamentary Affairs Department, Transport Department, Labour & Employment Department and o/o DC,Kamrup (M) Treasury. The officials undergoing the training will be released from their duty with effect from 22nd July for reporting at SMIT on 23rd and 24th July, 2016.
