GUWAHATI: An accident occurred in the Dispur area on Thursday, May 2 when an overspeeding dumper hit a two-wheeler, hence killing the rider.

The accident occurred at 11 PM yesterday night as the dumper which was allegedly over speeding hit the two-wheeler and fled.
The victim received grievous injuries on their leg as the dumper allegedly also ran over the victim after hitting. The person died on the spot.

Talking to GPlus, a police officer from Dispur Police Station said, “The driver has fled. We are investigating the matter to take the accused into custody. The victim died on spot.”
