GUWAHATI: The Gauhati High Court went into a tizzy on Tuesday, April 22 following an alleged e-mailed threat to blow up the building. As word spread, some lawyers and officials were seen vacating the building unsure of what could be in store, but that did not hamper the overall working of the court.

Police rushed a team after being informed, but even after a thorough search of the premises nothing incriminating was found leading them to speculate that the entire thing was a hoax.
“We think it was a hoax,” a police official said adding, however, that watch would be kept to eliminate any possible risk. “This had happened before, too,” the official added.
