GUWAHATI: President Droupadi Murmu announced the appointment of Indra Sena Reddy Nallu as the Governor of Tripura.
Reddy Nallu will be the 20th Governor of Tripura.

Hailing from poll-bound Telangana, Indra Sena Reddy has a strong political background.
Reddy Nallu is a seasoned leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and a three-time Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Andhra Pradesh.
Notably he had voiced his concerns to the party leadership about the importance given to new entrants over the old members of BJP.
The outgoing Governor of Tripura, Satyadev Narayan Arya, was also a distinguished BJP leader from Bihar.
