Indian Railways to introduce new timetable; effective from July 1

GUWAHATI: Indian Railways has announced a new timetable for several trains effective from July 1. 

As part of this new timetable, the arrival and departure timings of 67 trains will been changed at various stations, according to an official statement.

The arrival and departure timings at Guwahati have been changed for trains like the 22502 New Tinsukia-Bengaluru Express, the 20503 Dibrugarh-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, the 20505 Dibrugarh-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, the 12423 Dibrugarh-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, the 20501 Agartala-Anand Vihar Rajdhani Express, the 15960 Dibrugarh-Howrah Kamrup Express, the 14055 Dibrugarh-Delhi Brahmaputra Mail, the 15903 Dibrugarh-Chandigarh Express, the 15933 Dibrugarh-Amritsar Express, the 15909 Dibrugarh-Lalgarh Awadh Assam Express, and the 13174 Agartala-Sealdah Kanchanjunga Express.

Journey timings for some trains have been reduced between five to 30 minutes. These trains include 15909 Dibrugarh-Lalgarh Awadh Assam Express, the 15630 Silghat Town-Tambaram Nagaon Express, the 15418 Silghat Town-Alipurduar Junction Rajya Rani Express, and the 15631 Barmar-Guwahati Express. 

Earlier, 16 passenger trains had been speeded up over the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) Zone.
