Student’s Welfare Board, IIT Guwahati will conduct the second edition of the much awaited social entrepreneurship competition “Action Plan” which is incorporated under the “Startup India” initiative of Government of India to boost the startup ecosystem in the country. This initiative isintended to build a strong ecosystem for nurturing innovation and startups in the country that will drive sustainable economic growth and generate large scale employment opportunities.
Action plan or A-plan, IIT Guwahati aims to provide a platform for the bright and young minds to come up with innovative ideas and solutions to various problems existing in the surroundings and present them into a concrete form before experts.
Registrations for A-plan, IIT Guwahati started from 10th March and it is free of cost. Final round will be held on 14th April, 2018 in the first edition of the welfare fest of IIT Guwahati, Prayatna. Total prizes worth Rs 1 lakh will be distributed to the winning teams.
