Huge amount of ganja seized at Guwahati Railway Station, one held

GUWAHATI: The Government Railway Police (GRP) on Tuesday seized 38 kg of ganja from the Delhi-bound Rajdhani Express, at the Guwahati Railway Station.

GRP while conducting routine checking inside the Dn Agartala-Anand Vihar Rajdhani Express at Platform Number 1 of Guwahati Railway Station, recovered ganja weighing approximately 38 kg from the possession of a passenger Suburaj Debbarma.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that Debbarma, is a resident of Sidhai area in West Tripura district, was carrying the consignment from Agartala and he was expected to deliver it at Katihar.
