DC, Kamrup (M) Dr M Angamuthu in a press meet held in city on Friday said that all the indigenous people who lost their land and property in Amchang Reserve Forest eviction will be provided with rehabilitation. Thorough research will be done to figure out the indigenous people.
The students who lost their schools in the eviction, will be identified and immediate arrangements for their education will be provided.
The DC further announced that he will ask the Forest Department to construct permanent boundary wall throughout the reserve forest.
