GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) has issued a notice informing consumers about an upcoming interruption in water supply in various parts of Guwahati scheduled for April 17.

The disruption will affect areas falling under DMA AN011 & AN013, including BK Kakoti Road, Rehabari, the left side of GS Road from ASEB to Ulubari Chariali, RK Mission Road, Birubari, Barthakur mill area, among others.

The interruption is necessary due to a leakage issue that requires immediate attention.
Consequently, consumers in the mentioned areas are advised to make necessary arrangements to manage their water needs during the period of disruption.
The Guwahati Jal Board assures consumers that every effort will be made to expedite the repair process and restore normal water supply at the earliest.
However, in the interim, residents are encouraged to utilise stored water judiciously and to cooperate with the authorities during this temporary inconvenience.
