GUWAHATI: The police, under a Nakabandi, checking at Lahorijan Police Post (PP) operating under Dillai Police Station (PS), intercepted a sedan vehicle containing a substantial stash of suspected heroin on November 16 in Karbi Anglong.
The operation resulted in the discovery of 28 soap cases concealed within the vehicle, containing a total of 334.83 gram of suspected heroin. Two individuals associated with the transportation of the illicit substances have been apprehended.
Karbi Anglong Police took to X to put out, “Alert NAKA of Lahorijan PP under Dillai PS detected 28 nos. of soap cases containing heroin weighing 334.83 grams from a Swift Dezire car bearing Regn No AS01FN5844 Two persons have been apprehended.”
The two individuals apprehended in connection with this drug seizure have not been identified at this time. Further details are awaited.
