GUWAHATI: Three workers sustained injuries after a portion of a guard wall collapsed at an under-construction drainage site in Chabipool on Friday, January 31. The incident left the workers temporarily trapped before they were rescued and taken to a nearby hospital.

According to officials from Bharalumukh Police Station, all three individuals are out of danger and are receiving medical attention. "They are safe and currently going through medical treatment," an official told G Plus.
However, local residents expressed dissatisfaction over the delayed response of emergency services. "The authorities didn’t even have an ambulance to take the injured to the hospital," a bystander said, criticising the lack of preparedness at the site.
The situation is now under control, and further details regarding the cause of the mishap are awaited.
