Days after being administered with a dose of the coronavirus vaccine, Covaxin, Haryana health minister, Anil Vij has been tested positive for COVID-19.

"I have been tested Corona positive. I am admitted in Civil Hospital Ambala Cantt. All those who have come in close contact with me are advised to get themselves tested for corona," Vij wrote on his official Twitter handle.

Anil Vij received a trial dose of the vaccine on 20th November, after he offered to be the first volunteer in the phase three trials for the potential coronavirus vaccine, Covaxin.
The vaccine is being developed by Bharat Biotech along with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and has successfully completed two phases of trial.
