GUWAHATI: A woman suffered major injuries after being hit by a train (Silchar-Guwahati Express) at Chandmari area in Guwahati on May 31.
The woman was identified as Nandita Saha.

According to witness, the woman was trying to get down from the moving train in Chandmari railway crossing, when she got hit.
Nandita is currently undergoing treatment at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital.
