The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has released a detailed weather forecast for the city and its surroundings for the week ahead, along with a summary of recent weather conditions.

Forecast for Guwahati:
• June 19: Generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thunderstorms expected.
• June 20: Persistent cloudy skies with rain or thunderstorms likely to occur.
• June 21: Generally cloudy sky, possibly interrupted by spells of rain or thunderstorms.
• June 22: Cloudy conditions with intermittent rain expected throughout the day.
• June 23: Continued cloudy weather with chances of intermittent rain.
• June 24: Generally cloudy with potential for a few spells of rain or thundershowers.

The seasonal highest daily rainfall was recorded on June 17 with 70.0 mm. A noticeable drop from the normal maximum and minimum temperatures have been seen, reflecting cooler conditions due to cloud cover and precipitation.
