GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board has announced the resumption of water supply on October 27 to designated areas within DMA6G4, which includes localities like Bhaskar Nagar, Hatigarh Chariali, and Sarbudoy Nagar, among others. The water supply was temporarily disrupted due to urgent repair work at Hatigarh Chariali.
The Guwahati Metropolitan Development Water and Sewerage Board (GMDW and SB) released this information to notify their consumers. Water supply in the affected areas is expected to be restored today after 1 PM, following the completion of the necessary repair work.
Taking to X, Guwahati Jal Board stated, “We would like to inform our esteemed consumers that water supply will resume today after 1 pm in DMA6G4 having areas namely Bhaskar Nagar, Hatigarh Chariali, Sarbudoy Nagar etc. due to ongoing urgent repairing work at Hatigarh Chariali, Regards GMDW&SB.”
