In a bizarre incident, a man has died within 24 hours of his marriage. The incident occurred in the Chandrapur area of Guwahati.
Khagen Baishya also known as Moon was a 30-year-old man working as a computer operator at Pragjyotishpur police station. He got married on February 27.
The very next day, after having dinner Baishya allegedly fainted while making his bed. The young man was found lying on his bed. He was taken to GATE hospital at Geetanagar where he was declared dead.
This was informed to G Plus by Pragyotishpur Police Station (PS) Officer-in-Charge Bhaskar Kalita. As per the official, the young man had a sudden stroke which resulted in his death.
As per sources close to the matter, his wife has been under severe distress following the demise of the husband.
