GUWAHATI: The Chief Secretary of Assam, Kumar Sanjay Krishna has partially modified the previously issued order on a list of activities allowed during the lockdown.
As per the modification, the following activities will be permitted to operate this week:

a.) FCI activities relating to food-grain are allowed with minimum required workforce;
b.) Courier and E-commerce activities are allowed between 9 AM and 4 Pm from Monday to Friday;
c.) House to house delivery of poultry and mutton products are allowed from Monday to Friday between 10 AM and 4 PM
The Chief Secretary had announced a relaxed extension of the lockdown in Guwahati by another week on July 11 which would continue from July 13 to July 19 to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.
