Guwahati Blast: Jahnabi spent hours in Guwahati Central before executing the plot

GUWAHATI: Jahnabi Saikia, one of prime accused in the Guwahati blast, has revealed that she spent several hours at Guwahati Central mall before executing the blast that took place in front of the mall on May 15.
 
Jahnabi has revealed this during her interrogation after she was caught by a team of Guwahti city police from a house in Panjabari on May 16.

She also  revealed the details of how the plan was executed. According to her statement, she first came to verify and inspect the spot and spent some time in the shopping mall. She was later dropped at her rented home in Panjabari by a youth who was riding the same scooty that was used for the blast.
 
After dropping Jahnabi, the youth took the grenade from her house and picked another youth up on his way back to the mall to execute the heinous crime.

Jahnabi, who is allegedly involved with ULFA, was detained by the police along with Pranamoy Rajguru, a pro-talk ULFA leader who is also suspected to be involved in the blast. 
  
Rajguru, who had joined the rebel group in 1986, is currently lodged at Latasil Police Station and Jahnabi at Pan Bazaar Women Police Station.
