GUWAHATI: The Basistha police in Guwahati seized Rs 60 lakh worth of drugs hidden under an e-rickshaw in Beltola. The officials confiscated 6 packets of Yaba Tablets.
A police official intercepted an e-rickshaw where the packets were hidden below in a compartment under the driver's seat. Beltola Police Station Officer in Charge (OC) Partha Gogoi confirmed the matter to G Plus.
"We have arrested one person in connection with the case however the driver fled away. We are continuing investigation for further links," said Gogoi.
Following the bust, a Maruti car was also seized by the police.
