Jake Lush McCrum, general manager, cricket operations for Rajasthan Royals was in the city to meet the officials of ACA and also to evaluate the venue.

"We are trying for the past three years to bring the IPL to the state and we have been requesting the franchises to come to the state to evaluate the venue here. Earlier Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders showed interest but because of some obligation, it didn't happen. So, this time with Jake's visit we are expecting something good," said Saikia.
