GUWAHATI: The Special Task Force (STF), Assam intercepted a truck carrying a substantial quantity of ganja concealed beneath raw rubber on January 23 at Beharbari.
The STF team, acting on inputs received intercepted the truck today morning while transporting ganja hidden among raw rubber cargo.

The bust led to the seizure of 4000 kg of ganja having an estimated market value of ₹10 crore, and also led to the arrest of the two allegedly involved. The individuals have been identified as Raju Sharma (46 years) from Basistha, Guwahati, and Biswajit Das (29 years) from Cachar.
The arrested individuals are now in custody and will face legal proceedings. Further details await.
