GUWAHATI: As Ambubachi Mela 2024 is approaching with just two days left to begin, the Kamakhya Devalaya is gearing up to ensure the safety and security of thousands of devotees expected to attend. This year, the temple authorities have taken a significant step by installing 300 CCTV cameras around the premises.

Talking to GPlus, Kabindra Prasad Sharma, Doloy of Kamakhya Devalaya said, "For security purposes, we have installed 300 CCTV cameras this time."
This year, the festival will take place from June 22 to June 26, 2024.
