GUWAHATI: A Green Bus travelling from Paltan Bazar to Ganeshguri crashed into the wall of a flyover near Bhangagarh around 5:00 pm on Saturday, leaving several passengers injured.

Talking to GPlus, an official from Bhangagarh Police Station said, “One woman suffered a broken hand. At least five others sustained minor injuries. Some of the injured are yet to be identified, and further assessment is ongoing. The driver of the bus is currently in custody, along with the vehicle.”
As per preliminary observations it suggests overspeeding may have caused the accident.
Further investigation is under way.
