GUWAHATI: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has declared that it will increase the interest rate on provident fund (PF) deposits for 2018-19.
The interest rate has been hiked from 8.55% to 8.65%. The move will benefit EPFO’s six crore subscribers.
“The proposal to declare interest rate for this fiscal is on the agenda of the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) trustees meeting on February 21, 2019," a source said, according to PTI.
