GUWAHATI: A case of theft has been reported at a jewellery shop in Ganeshguri, where an unidentified individual allegedly stole a pair of gold earrings worth ₹50,000 on Monday, March 24.

According to the FIR lodged by the shop’s proprietor, the accused was posing as a customer, visited the store and managed to steal the jewellery before leaving the premises. The entire act was captured on the shop’s CCTV cameras.
The complainant has also submitted CCTV footage and images of the accused to assist in the investigation.
