GUWAHATI: GoAir flight operating in Guwahati-Kolkata route, made an emergency landing at the LGBI Airport in Borjhar on December 23.
According to a press release, at around 11.17 hrs today, GoAir flight GOW 546, which took off from Guwahati Airport to Kolkata, pilot requested for return to Guwahati due to minor technical problem and taking safest decision, pilot landed back at 11.29 hrs at Guwahati Airport.
Speaking to G Plus, an official of Airport Authority of India at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport said that there were 139 lives on board which includes 132 passengers and 7 crew members.
GoAir mentioned that out of the 132 passengers 32 had been sent by the next available GoAir flight and remaining 100 were refunded with the fare.
