GUWAHATI: Now, the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) will collect tax through online and enforce machine.
The online tax collection system replaces older the door to door system of tax collection by the municipal authority.

As per reports, the GMC will collect online tax in six zones in Guwahati. Further, now residents will be able to seek permission for construction of houses through the new online system.
