GUWAHATI: The Garchuk police on Tuesday arrested a gang of seven dacoits in connection with a recent robbery case; the police also recovered a car.
A gang of 10 armed dacoits had entered the house of ex-commandant of SSB, K S Solomon at 1.30 am on Sunday. They looted valuables including cash. They also tied up Solomon and looted their television, gold, jewellery and had fled with their car.
The residence of ex-commandant is located at Ahomgaon, Milan Nagar.
