GUWAHATI: A team from Dispur Police Station recovered four stolen two-wheelers after a chase near the international border in Lapalang Basti, East Khasi Hills, on Wednesday, March 5. The thieves had attempted to smuggle the bikes across the border.

Two of the stolen two-wheelers were seized during the operation, and two more were recovered later when they were intercepted by Meghalaya Police.
A follow-up operation in Gorchuk led to the arrest of three individuals identified as Rofiqul Ali (from Koyachui), Saiful Ali (from Sarthebari), and Saddam Kham (from Tarabari).
Legal action has been initiated against the arrested individuals.
