GUWAHATI: Guwahati police arrested two individuals on Thursday, March 6, in connection with a theft case and recovered stolen items within 12 hours of receiving the complaint.

The accused, identified as Saddam Ali (24) from Baksa district and Nurul Amin (20) from Bongaigaon district, were apprehended from Kuipath under the jurisdiction of Hatigaon Police Station.
During the operation, the police seized multiple stolen items, including an iPhone 13 Starlight, a POCO mobile phone, gold earrings, a gold chain with a locket, Aadhaar cards, ATM cards, and other valuables.
Additionally, authorities recovered a voter ID, PAN card, driving license, RC book, multiple mobile phones, a waist bag, a money purse, and tools such as screwdrivers and a nail.
The arrest was carried out by authorities from the Basistha Police Station.
