Four Boys Rescued From Child Labour At Printing Press In Guwahati's Bamunimaidam

 

GUWAHATI: Four 15-year-old boys were rescued from a printing press engaged in child labour by a team from Chandmari Police Station, in collaboration with Childline Kamrup (M), on Tuesday, March 11.

The children, all hailing from Milekuchi, Barpeta, were found working at a printing press located in Bamunimaidam. After their rescue, the boys were immediately brought to safety, where they underwent a medical examination.

Currently, the children are in the care of Childline Kamrup (M), receiving the necessary support and protection. 

Authorities have launched an investigation and are taking appropriate action against those responsible for exploiting the minors.
