GUWAHATI: Residents in multiple localities of Guwahati will experience a temporary disruption in water supply today March 12 due to damage to a pipeline caused during utility work by another department.

The affected areas include Guwahati’s Chandmari, Milanpur, Kanwacal Road, Red Cross Area, Bamunimaidam Railway Crossing, Govt Press Area, Main Road from Khadi Board to Bamunimaidam, Old AEI Road, and part of Nabagiri Road.
Authorities have assured that the water supply will be restored once the leakage repair work is completed. Consumers have been advised to make necessary arrangements in the meantime.
