GUWAHATI: In a coordinated operation, a team from Dispur police station, Guwahati with assistance from Bihar police, rescued a minor girl who is a resident of Kachari Basti, Guwahati. The girl was recovered from Mahdi Nagar, Bankat Chowk in Muzaffarpur, Bihar on April 29.

The rescue mission was the result of action taken by the Dispur police after receiving crucial information regarding the girl's whereabouts. The team then collaborated with their Bihar counterparts to locate and bring the minor to safety.
Authorities have confirmed that the girl is now in protective custody, and further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances leading to her presence in Muzaffarpur.
