Tamizuddin Ahmed, former Sub Inspector (SI) of Bharalumukh Police Station was found dead at Guwahati Central Jail, on Sunday. Doctors however claimed cardiac arrest to be the reason behind his death.
Ahmed was remanded to judicial custody recently, in connection with the custodial death of a minor, along with former OC of the Police Station, U.K Bora, and another SI Azizir Rahman.
The family of the deceased has alleged foul play in the entire turn of events.
