Former Pakistani Cricketer Shahid Afridi Tests Positive For COVID -19

GUWAHATI: Former Pakistani Cricket team captain Shahid Afridi has tested positive for COVID-19.

He had been feeling unwell since June 11 and complained of body ache post which he tested positive for the virus.

“I’ve been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I’ve been tested and unfortunately I’m covid positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah,” he tweeted to inform his fans about the same.

Shahid Afridi played cricket and represented Pakistan for two decades from 1998 to 2018. The cricketer featured in 27 Test matches and played 398 One Day Internationals, alongside 99 T20 Internationals.
