Former Congress Leader Jyotiraditya Scindia to Join BJP today

GUWAHATI: Former Congress strongman, Jyotiraditya Scindia will join Bharatiya Janata Party at 12:30 PM in the presence of BJP President JP Nadda at party headquarters on March 11.

It is to be mentioned that shortly after Scindia's exit from the Congress, 21 party MLAs sent letters of resignation to the Madhya Pradesh Governor. Earlier, sources said 25 MLAs were ready to resign. 

Meanwhile, MP Chief Minister Kamal Nath has said he is confident his government will complete its term. "There is nothing to worry about. We will prove our majority," he said late on Tuesday night.

Taking to the Twitter, Assam State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote,"Heartening to see old colleague, & very dynamic Sri  @JM_Scindia having come to the fold of  @BJP4India, a party that's a rangoli of all colors & believes in taking everyone along. We shall have a great time together #JyotiradityaScindia ji."
