GUWAHATI: Dispur Police apprehended five individuals in the Khanapara area on Monday, March 17, after receiving a tip-off regarding their involvement in theft.

The suspects were found in possession of stolen items, including a battery and two wrenches, which were promptly recovered by authorities. This led to their immediate arrests.
The suspects have been identified as Habel Ali (35), a resident of Khanapara; Zakir Hussain (18), also from Khanapara; Avtar Singh (30), from Natun Bajar, Kalibari Road; Chandan Sharma (18), a resident of Ruwad Nagar, Khanapara; and Dipak Brahma (33), also residing in Khanapara.
All five were taken into custody for further questioning, and investigations are ongoing.
