GUWAHATI: Massive fire broke out in Bara Bazar Maligaon, during the late night hours on Monday.
Two shops were completely gutted in the fire.
According to sources, the shops were being used as a hub of illegal liquor business for a long time.

Six Fire tenders arrived at the spot to douse the fire.
Allegedly, the localities of the area complained several times about the liquor shops to the Excise Dept. and the City Police but no action was taken.
No injuries were reported at the place of the incident.
The reason of fire is yet to be known.
