GUWAHATI: The 65th Filmfare Awards that was held in Guwahati on February 15, will be telecasted on Sunday, February 16 at 9 PM on Colors TV.
It is to be mentioned that altogether, 150 Assamese artists and dancers including Aimee Baruah, Gayatri Mahanta, Seuz Priya and Sita Moni Lakhar performed in the mega event. There were several performances focusing on Assamese culture- namely Bihu, Sattriya and one tribal dance performance.
Some of the A-list actors who performed at the awards included Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, and Kartik Aaryan to name a few.
The award show was hosted by Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal, and Varun Dhawan.
Gully Boy swiped the highest number of awards and won in 11 major categories.
Further, chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal presented the lifetime achievement award to Ramesh Sippy. Additionally, Zubeen Garg also attended the mega event.
