GUWAHATI: A female Home Guard of the Assam Police, stationed at Chabua Police Station in Dibrugarh district, faced suspension due to inappropriate behaviour in a Zubeen Garg concert.

The event was organised on May 10.
In the video viral on social media, Mili Prabha Chutia, the home guard, was seen engaging in unprofessional conduct during a concert organised by Juba Eikya Mancha as part of the “Basant Utsav” (Bihu Celebration) in Chabua where Zubeen Garg was performing.

The video captured Mili Prabha Chutia hugging, kissing, and touching the feet of Zubeen Garg while he performed on stage. The incident, swiftly circulated on social media platforms, sparked widespread discussion and scrutiny.
Talking to GPlus, a police official from the Chabua Police Station said, "Mili Prabha Chutia has been suspended post her behavour on stage which was deemed inappropriate."
Authorities took prompt action, suspending Mili Prabha Chutia for her apparent negligence and misconduct while on duty. The incident has ignited debates on social media regarding the behavior of uniformed personnel during public events, prompting reflection on professional conduct and responsibilities.
