GUWAHATI: The Assam Govt has announced Wednesday, September 19th, as a 'Dry Day' to mark the 570th birth anniversary of Srimanta Sankardev, which is celebrated across Assam as Sankardev Tithi.
All liquor retail shops in the state shall remain closed on the above-mentioned date.
