GUWAHATI: Heroin was seized by the Special Task Force (STF), Assam, near Khanapara on April 18, along with the apprehension of the individual involved.

In an operation conducted this morning by the STF, Assam, suspected heroin in 29 vials with a total weight of 41 gram was seized along with two mobile phones and cash amounting to ₹760, near the Khanapara Bus-Stand under Dispur Police Station jurisdiction.

Additionally, an individual has also been apprehended in connection to the raid.
The arrested individual has been identified as Md. Najim Uddin, aged 26, hailing from 3 No. Malibari village, in the Boko Police Station area of Kamrup.
Presently, he was found residing near the Khanapara Bus Stand in Guwahati.
